Support for Communities

When we look at the plight of any community today, you will see its inability to function outside of the service of government’s fiscal budget. If a business, institution or government is suffering from revenue deficiency then they are spending money as soon as it comes in then sooner or later they will not be able to provide for its citizens. With the imposition of taxes and no services for the taxes levied, this will create declension, ill-feelings, mistrust, lawlessness, anarchy, and possible revolution. What could cause these conditions? Why now? When did it begin? Who is responsible for the current conditions? And do someone of yesterday still maintain control behind the scene? We want to cover every aspect of these questions and more.

If you would talk to any one in the community, you will immediately get a sense of an indifferent energy. Youwill be made to feel their lack of interest in the societal process. And there is evidence that support the repression of the authoritarian. These feelings are connected to corruptions of governmental authority. We know a citizen doesn’t wake up on day and prepare for the rough weather to stand, march and shout in protest as they occupied their cities for government and corporate America occupying their community without provocation. This apathy begins from a distant source in time and in order to see the players involved and disenfranchised from the establishment and rooted in a world-wide system of white supremacy. Yes! I know, it is not a popular subject. But it is the foundation in, which America’s cities have been put into a class, caste and racist system controlled and maintained by perpetual power structure.

Baltimore Asvocacy for Reconciliation Inc came into existence as result of being disenfranchised from the power structure. This is the case of how highly functional and creative people seemingly find themselves on the outside looking in. When a people feel helpless and have no recourse to seek freedom, justice, and equality then apathy sets in. Apathy comes from corruption in  government and abuse of police force, not to mentioned how bad the economy is as result of the mismanagement and corruption in city politics.

Our research have found demographic numbers reflecting the above mentioned circumstances. These conditions of the disenfranchised, which creates a target group of Black sheep of the family. This is the alpha male/theta female, drug addicts, unemployed, the gangsta, school drop-outs, teen parents etc… This profile allow us to seek significant resource and funds for services that community conscious rap, Inc is equip to provide in these areas.

From data of any urban metropolitan city with a population above 500 thousand, you will see reflections of the above target group. In Baltimore, the total population is 637, 411. 10.2 percent or 63 thousand are unemployed. 46 percent or 250,594 are employed. The remaining 43.8 percent are either on welfare, drugs addicts, in prison, in school or on any street corner selling drugs or gang banging. While most Baltimoreans are productive citizens, there is a segment of population that is considered a part of “hidden America.” The Black population of Baltimore is 65 percent or 407,160. The white population of Baltimore is 30 percent or 187,920. 5 percent of the population of Baltimore is considered “other.” Numbers are equated to power, but for over 200 years, Blacks have not exercised their power in numbers, politically, until 1987. The Black alpha males/theta females between the age of 15 and 34 years old in Baltimore are 28 percent or 104,015. A very significant part of that human resource and human potential is being wasted via illiteracy, drug addiction, school drop outs, increased violence, gang banging, etc.

The above condition is what called Baltimore Advocacy for Reconciliation, Incorporated into existence. We devote time, availability, resources, etc into providing services to disadvantaged individuals and communities that are a part of “hidden America.”
